Abstract

Kinetics and thermodynamics of electrodeposition of metallic materials in ionic liquids shall be investigated in a scale-bridging approach with various simulation methods (DFT, MD, Phase field, Lattice Boltzmann). Factors influencing the resulting morphologies shall be isolated and examined specifically.
